FastAccessMD™ is a scheduling platform that connects you with participating specialist physicians for expedited priority appointments. Physicians set aside a limited number of dedicated appointment slots each week, and you can book one of them for a transparent scheduling fee instead of waiting for the next standard opening.

None of those. FastAccessMD™ is a scheduling platform only. The physicians are independent, licensed professionals with their own practices. It is not insurance, and there is no membership or monthly fee — you pay a scheduling fee only when you book an appointment.

Concierge practices usually charge an ongoing membership fee for broader access to one primary care doctor. FastAccessMD™ has no membership: you pay per appointment, only when you need a faster specialist visit. No. FastAccessMD™ appointments come from time the physician adds to their week — such as an extra hour before clinic or a longer afternoon — not from appointments that belong to patients already on the schedule. The standard and priority schedules run side by side, so no one waits longer because a FastAccessMD™ slot exists.

Many patients are seen within days. Because FastAccessMD™ slots are set aside outside the standard scheduling queue, they are typically available much sooner than the next standard opening. Exact availability depends on the provider.

You receive an immediate confirmation from FastAccessMD™, and the physician's office follows up with you the next business day. On the day of your visit, bring your insurance card and photo ID and arrive ready to be seen.

It depends on your insurance plan and the specialist. Some plans require a referral from your primary care doctor for specialist visits to be covered. Check with your insurer before your appointment; the physician's office can also tell you what they need when they contact you.

FastAccessMD™ providers offer appointments for consultations, second opinions, follow-up care, and some minor procedures, depending on the specialty. Check each provider's profile for what they offer.

No. FastAccessMD™ is for scheduled specialist appointments only. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

The fee varies by practice and specialty. The exact amount is shown clearly in the FastAccessMD™ portal before you confirm and pay — there are no hidden costs.

Your scheduling fee reserves an expedited appointment that a specialist has opened specifically for you. It is separate from any charges for the medical visit itself, which are billed by the provider.

Yes. Your insurance is verified at the point of care and applies to your medical visit as normal. The physician's office bills your visit the same way it would for any appointment.

No. The scheduling fee is not covered by insurance and is not submitted to any insurance carrier. It is separate from, and in addition to, any copay, deductible, coinsurance, or other charges for the medical care itself.

No. The FastAccessMD™ fee is a scheduling fee, not a medical service, so it is not an eligible HSA or FSA expense and is not reimbursable by insurance. Please pay it with a regular credit or debit card. Your visit itself is billed separately by the practice, and your copays, coinsurance, and deductible for that visit may still be eligible under your plan.

You pay by credit card in the secure FastAccessMD™ portal when you book. Payments are processed by Stripe, and FastAccessMD™ never stores your card details.

Scheduling fees are non-refundable, but you can reschedule once at no charge if you contact the doctor's office at least 3 business days before your appointment. If your physician cancels, you can choose a reschedule or a full refund. For full details, see our Scheduling Fee & Rescheduling Policy at fastaccessmd.com/scheduling-policy.

At least 3 business days before your appointment. Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays, and the deadline is calculated from your appointment time in the practice's local time zone. For example, for a Monday 9:00 a.m. appointment, you must contact the office by the prior Wednesday at 9:00 a.m.; if a federal holiday falls in between, the deadline moves one business day earlier. Each booking includes one free reschedule, and the new appointment must take place within 90 days of the original date, subject to availability.

You can cancel anytime, but the scheduling fee is non-refundable, so it is not returned when you cancel. If you just need a different time, reschedule instead: your one free reschedule is available with at least 3 business days' notice.

If you cancel or reschedule with less than 3 business days' notice, or don't attend your appointment, your scheduling fee is forfeited. Requests for exceptions due to hardship, such as a medical emergency or the office closing for weather, are reviewed case by case: contact info@fastaccessmd.com or 614-636-2104.

You can choose to reschedule at no additional charge, or cancel and receive a full refund of your scheduling fee. We'll email you a private link to make your choice. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Contact the doctor's office directly using the phone number in your confirmation email; the time the office receives your request determines whether it meets the 3-business-day deadline. FastAccessMD™ is a scheduling platform only and is not a HIPAA covered entity. We do not collect or store protected health information. Your medical information is handled by the physician's practice, as with any other appointment.

Yes. FastAccessMD™ is a structured, transparent model: the fee is shown up front, your insurance still applies, and priority appointments use capacity the physician creates rather than taking time from other patients. FastAccessMD™ providers are independent, licensed specialists who choose to offer priority appointments at their practices. FastAccessMD™ does not employ or supervise them, and your care is provided entirely by the physician and their practice.
